United lose at Chelsea
Manchester United were knocked out of the FA Cup by Chelsea a couple of weeks back, losing 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.
While it wasn’t the highest quality game in living memory, it was certainly a highly charged and emotive affair, especially with Jose Mourinho returning to his former club,
Mourinho was once hailed as a demi-god at Chelsea, and having won 4 league titles during his time in West London, he is the club’s most successful manager.
But a section of Chelsea’s fans now revile him for his decision to manage Manchester United, and the Portuguese was treated to some choice words from the stands – and he hit back with a riposte afterwards.
Things got pretty physical down on the pitch too, with Ander Herrera getting sent off for United.
And as it turns out, things were a bit feisty in the stands too..
United fans’ homophobic chanting
Because at the Sun report in tomorrow’s paper, the police have opened an investigation into Man United fans’ alleged homophobic chanting at Stamford Bridge that night.
United fans are alleged to have chanted ‘Chelsea Rent Boys’ during the game, hence the Sun’s questionable headline…
